What cards are accepted as a guarantee for the rental?<\/strong><\/p>

At the time of the rental, the holder of the booking\/contract must be at the desk and show a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and UnionPay) with his\/her name and surname.<\/p>

Debit cards are only accepted for these vehicle categories: A, B, C, D, E and Z<\/strong>. However, two credit cards may be requested for special vehicle groups as a guarantee. For more information, please refer to our web page. No types of Prepaid cards, Revolving, Postepay, Visa Electron, V Pay, Pagobancomat, Viabuy, PayPal cards, or cards with the logo \u201cElectron\u201d or the wording \u201cElectron Use Only\u201d, and cards from the \u201cMaestro\u201d circuit are permitted as a guarantee. The balance on the card must be sufficient to cover the vehicle liability, any extra charges or deposits required as a guarantee for the rental. The \u201cmonthly\/multi-monthly\u201d rental option is available exclusively with a credit card (no Debit or Prepaid cards) as a guarantee for all vehicle categories. Car rental and deposit: what they are and how they work<\/strong><\/p>

When you rent a car<\/strong>, the rental company will need to hang on to a deposit, as they are granting you the use of a precious good<\/strong> and must be sure that this is protected<\/strong>.<\/p>

The deposit is an amount of money<\/strong> taken as a safe guard and used as an assurance<\/strong> by the rental company, which uses it also to check the validity of the customer\u2019s credit card<\/strong>.<\/p>

The rental company undertakes to return the amount<\/strong> after it makes sure that the vehicle is in good conditions and the driver has fulfilled all their obligations.\u00a0<\/p>

When the deposit will be refunded and what to do<\/strong><\/p>

If everything goes smoothly, the deposit will be unblocked after 4-5 working days<\/strong>. Sometimes, it can take up to 10 days<\/strong> if there\u2019s a festivity going on or if the rental company is experiencing busy periods. If your deposit hasn’t been returned within that time, you can contact us via www.noleggiare.it\/en\/contacts\/<\/a>. Call your bank <\/strong>if we\u2019ve returned the deposit but you still don\u2019t see the amount on your account.<\/p>

How much is a car rental deposit?<\/strong><\/p>

The amount of money depends on the type of the vehicle<\/strong>. That\u2019s why fixed or standard costs cannot be applied to every vehicle.<\/p>
